Sweet pea turned 4 months last week and we had her 4 month check up a few days later. The doctor was very pleased with her size and her social sweetness. She cooed and laughed at him the whole time. We saw our new doctor in our new town and I really like him! He took so much time to talk and get to know us. I think he will be a great fit for our family.
Sadie is a big girl! At least she is proportional I suppose. Jude was bigger at this stage too and thinned out once he started moving. Here are her stats:
Head Circumference: 16.25 cm (90%)
Weight: 15 lb. 14 oz (75%)
Length: 24.5 in. (75%)
Sadie does have excema and the cyst on her eye is one we have to keep an eye on. It is on her left eye brow. Our first pediatrician thought it was a birth trauma but our new doctors feels certain it is not. He gave me the name of the kind of cyst but I don't remember. :( It could go away, but if he doesn't by age 2, he will refer us to an eye surgeon. As long as it does not effect her vision, which now it does not seem to be, we have no worries other than the cosmetic side of things.
At 4 months, Sadie LOVES to jump. She wants to jump in her play table, jump while standing on your legs, or lie on the bed while Jude jumps on it. She laughs and is so ticklish. She is on a good day schedule, taking a morning nap around 10, an afternoon nap around 1:30 and an evening cat nap around 5-5:30 pm. Bed time is 8-8:30, dream feed at 10:30, and she wakes between 4-5 to feed, then goes back to sleep until 7-7:30. She has skipped the early morning feeding a few times, but not consistently. She continues to not care much about her bappy but does enjoy snuggling with her lovey. She can roll backwards and forwards and enjoys chewing/sucking on her fingers. She adores Jude and watching him.
Sadie, you are a beautiful blessing and we love you more each day!
*We will have lots of pictures from our NC visit on the next post! :)

3!
We celebrated Jude's 3rd birthday yesterday! We told him he could choose anything he wanted to do for the day, and he wanted to go sledding. We decided to go to the ski lodge about 10 minutes from our new home for some adventures.
Jude loved throwing snowballs and going down the small hills. About 30 seconds after this picture was taken, Jude let go and Sadie face planted into the side of the sled.
Though I miss my friends in the western part of WA, I sure am glad this handsome guy is home every night.
Jude really enjoyed opening his new gifts. He is also excited to have a family birthday dinner when we go home to North Carolina in a few weeks.
Jude enjoyed his cake, but he really is excited about his Lightning cake from Miss Brittany!
Here is a little interview from Jude:

Jude,
You have grown into a handsome, sweet, smart, wonderful boy. We are so proud of the huge things you've already done. In the past year, you have said good bye to your bappy. You are now potty trained and sleeping in a big bed. You welcomed your first sibling and we made another move. You continue to learn every day. You know all your letters, numbers 1-20, and are learning how to write your name and phonemes. You continue to love to read and hear stories. You are learning new Bible verses and show your manners. You are so incredibly precious to us. We pray every day that you will know Jesus as your Savior and choose to follow him every day. We love you so very much!

Birthday Boy!
Before we went sledding, we had a family birthday part at home. Jude woke up to gifts, balloons, and a home made birthday cake. He wanted me to sing happy birthday to all his new toys.Jude really enjoyed opening his new gifts. Settling In
We are officially settling in at our new home. Boxes are officially unpacked, pictures are on the walls, and we are getting a new routine. Part of that new routine is LOTS of time outside, which I'm enjoying. We have a creek that runs in our backyard with a bridge (as you see pictured) that allows Jude to play safely. He loves to throw sticks and rocks into the water.
We also have a 2 acre front yard. Lots of great space for Mason and Jude to romp around in, as well as for Justin to mow in the summer. Yippee.
This is definitely a change in pace considering we are in another small town, quite different than life near a large city, but it's a blessing to be home every day and to know Justin will be home with us. We are enjoying our time as spring approaches (and Jude's birthday this weekend!)
And of course, I can't post without including these 2 sweet faces. Sadie continues to be such a sweet baby. She wakes up between 7:30-8 each morning and feeds every 3.5-4 hours. She officially goes to bed between 8 and 9 every night. Though I've followed the same routine as I did with Jude man, Sadie is still not sleeping through the night consistently, but that's ok. I know she is still little. She usually wakes between 2-3 am, again around 5:30 or 6, and then wakes up for a slight snack as aforementioned to begin her day.
She truly is a very contented and happy baby. She naps well and her favorite things are her jumpy toy and watching Jude play. She will actually cry at times until you put her into her jumpy.
We go for her 4 month check up next week so I'm eager to see how Miss Pris is growing.
And this little man is doing great with the new transition into our new home. Because it's a lot bigger than our old apartment, the first few days, when we would ask him to go get something in such and such, he would often go the wrong way, ha. He now knows where to look for things. He is a great helper and enjoys helping me cook and do some chores around the house. We try to do 2 15 minute learning/structured tasks each day focusing on numbers, letters, and Bible time but overall, we enjoy free play and exploration.
Though I greatly miss my friends and am adjusting to a new town, I am thankful for God's hand over us and for these passing days with my babes.
