Things are going great for us...we're still in our waiting period until our little man arrives. God has given me such a peace about His perfect timing and I'm really not that uncomfortable at all physically. I have some pain in my hips and lower back when I wake up, but other than that, I'm really doing great! Praise the Lord! I had some really bad pain from Jude lying on my sciatic nerve last week, but thankfully after a few days he moved and I could walk normally. Jude is still growing strong and is progressing great! At my 37 week appointment yesterday, I was 3 cm dilated and 90% effaced. I'm taking this with a grain of salt because I know babies can come anytime He sees fit...
I have also found one of my new favorite recipes for a dessert. It's cheap, easy, and SUPER yummy! Hope you enjoy!
Fruity Cupcakes with a Glaze
Ingredients:
-1 box yellow cake mix
-1 can fruit pie filling of your choice (I prefer apple or cherry)
-1 egg
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together until creamy. Pour into muffins tins lined with liners until about 1/2 way full. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20-22 minutes or until golden brown. (Makes 24 cupcakes)
Glaze: While cupcakes are baking, mix 1 cup powdered sugar and 5 tablespoons milk. Drizzle over warm cupcakes.

February 2011
Holy Cow, where has the time gone? Every day is so quick to pass by and I know it will go by even faster with Jude gets here. We are officially on the "home stretch". I'm 33.5 weeks pregnant, meaning, there is only 6.5 weeks before my due date! God has so richly blessed us and I can't wait to meet our son!
On that note, as much as I am longing to meet him, I have been battling with mine and Justin's "our time". Don't get me wrong, I know Jude will bless our home and marriage more than we can imagine, but I also know that we will be tried in new ways, especially in making Justin always feel like my #1 man! February is our last FULL month before Jude gets here, yes, that's right, NEXT month, our son will be born (we hope he does not come too early :)).
We have LOTS going on in this last month...including: finishing the nursery, my last shower, the Superbowl, our Birthing class, my breast feeding class, a Parenting Seminar, weekly Bible study, Valentine's Day, Justin's conference at UGA, an interview in Montana, other showers for friends, FBCO Women's Conference, and my launching of my new business as a BeautiControl consultant! Yes, all that in the next 28 days + regular exercise and work hours.
If I'm not busy, I don't know what to do...please be praying for our family as we approach this time of transition! So EXCITING!

Chicken Enchilada Pizzas
Time is going so quickly and I can't believe Jude is due in less than 8 weeks. He is growing so big and I love feeling him move around. At my appointment last week, he is actually measuring a week ahead, which was no surprise to me because Justin was a rather large baby and I have a feeling Jude will be a spitting image of his Daddy, which will be fine, because I obviously love me some Justin! :) The pregnancy is going very smoothly and God has greatly blessed us in so many ways. The nursery is almost finished and I think I have begun to become in a "nesting" state. I want everything in order!
On another note, I have not posted a recipe in a while and this is what I made for dinner on Friday night. It turned out REALLY yummy and it's really easy, so enjoy!
Chicken Enchilada Pizzas
-1 lb. cooked chicken (actually used Rotisserie chicken pulled from the bone from the deli and it had great flavor)
-1 cup sour cream
-1 cup Salsa Verde
-1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
-1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-4 whole wheat tortillas
Directions:
1. Place tortillas on cookie sheet and broil for 5 minutes or until crispy.
2. While in oven, place chicken, beans, and salsa in skillet and cook on medium heat until warmed through.
3. Spread 1/4 cup sour cream over each tortilla.
4. Spread 1/2 cup chicken mixture over sour cream.
5. Sprinkle 1/4 cup shredded cheese on top.
6. Place back in oven on broil until cheese is melted.
Enjoy! Nursery pictures are to come soon! :)

Before and After
In other news, I got 2 great chairs from a friend of mine who was simply trying to make room in her attic. I have been wanting to paint them and recover them for a while. I knew I needed to get this project done before Jude arrived, so this past Saturday, Justin and I worked on them and this is our finished product! I am very pleased with how they turned out! All we did was sand them and paint them "creamy nutmeg" and recovered those awful stripes with a pale yellow paisley pattern. All the supplies cost less than $20 and they look really great in our dining room. Our dining room set only has 4 chairs so these make great addtional seating, as well as good decorations. I saw some pretty chocolate brown pillows I want to add to them at Target, but we'll wait for February for that purchase. :)
Lastly, I can't post the day after the National Championship win without saying "WAR EAGLE"!
